https://spg.slupsk.pl/index.php/spg/article/view/3

As a result of many years of research on continental Paleogene-Neogene sediments, a variety
of factual material has been accumulated on the features of their structure and formation conditions, stratigraphic schemes have been compiled and approved, and the mineragenic potential has been evaluated in a general way. However, most of these works were carried out mainly on the territory of Belarus as a whole, cartographic construction were carried out on a small scale, the conclusions reached were only limitedly based on data within the Podlaska-Brest Depression. This allows us to state that the currently known materials on lithology, geochemistry and paleogeography of the studied stratum require serious detailing of structural features, material composition, history of geological development, a comprehensive analysis of mineral resources, construction of forecasted mineragenic maps substantiated by sufficient factual material.
Maxim BogdasarovYuri Dmitrievich KozhanovEvgeniy Aleksandrovich Kukharik

https://spg.slupsk.pl/index.php/spg/article/view/4

The article discusses the changes in the spatial arrangements of the Josephine colonies in the Nowy Sącz District. In the first part of the article, apart from the initial stages of the formation of the Josephine colonies, their evolution up to 1945 was also analyzed. The author distinguished two forms of Josephine colonies: short street colonies and a street and square layout. The next part presents the current state of the colony?s spatial systems. The achievement of the goal was achieved by undertaking a query of archival sources in the form of historical documents and cartographic materials. The basic cartographic source used in the analysis of old rural systems was the Galician cadastre. In research on the present day, the available map was used and a field inventory was made.
Monika Cepil

https://spg.slupsk.pl/index.php/spg/article/view/7

The article is devoted to the assessment of the ecological condition the basins of small rivers of the Western Polissya of Ukraine. The study was conducted according to systematic observations within river basins, using a systematic model of the hierarchical structure of the ?Small River Basin?. This model classifies small river basins according to the degree of anthropogenic loads acting on them and allows tracking the state of the river basin by various indicators within individual subsystems (radioactive contamination of the territory; land use; river runoff use; water quality). Water protection measures are proposed to improve the ecological condition of small river basins of Western Polissya of Ukraine.
Anatolii YatsykIgor GopchakTetiana BasiukIvan Kirvel

https://spg.slupsk.pl/index.php/spg/article/view/8

The paper describes the regulation of the outflow of the Ukrainian part of the Desna River by means of artificial reservoirs. The results of research on the regulation of river runoff are presented. It was assumed that small reservoirs are characterized by a geomorphological peculiarity, parameters of hydrographic regions, stability of the horizontal regime, little impact on adjacent areas, a fast pace of formation of banks and basins, and a short time of formation of a new ecosystem. According to research, most joints are in terrible condition. This condition is due to a lack of proper care and improper use. Most are built by local farms with a low level of engineering, with simplified technical documentation, and more often without it. Comprehensive studies of water bodies of various types made it possible to clarify their peculiarities
of development and possible use. Taking into account the slight regulation of the outflow of
rivers in the Desna catchment area, it should be stated that the volume of artificial reservoirs
can be increased several times. When regulating the runoff, focus on the ecological component.
Ivan KirvelViacheslav Kravets

2019-10-262019-10-2616839210.34858/spg.16.2019.007The concept for the expansion of the railway transport system on the West Pomeranian Coast
https://spg.slupsk.pl/index.php/spg/article/view/10

The aim of the article is to indicate the directions and possibilities of expanding the rail transport system on the West Pomeranian Coast, resulting from the objectives enshrined in the Resolution No. 173/2017 of the Council of Ministers of 7 November 2017 on preparation and implementation for the Port of Solidarność investment - Central Communication Port for the Republic of Poland. The development of tourist functions on the West Pomeranian Coast, combined with the impairment and limitation of the role of rail transport is the reason for considering the final shape of the rail transport system. The West Pomeranian coast on the section from the city of Dziwnów to the city of Mielno is currently an area of very intense development of tourist and recreational functions with the dominating role of spa and recreational functions concentrating around Kołobrzeg. Kołobrzeg is currently the fastest growing city of the Koszalin-Kołobrzeg-Białogard Functional Area with a very large increase in housing resources and tourist accommodation base and tourist infrastructure. Elimination of the communication exclusion of Central Pomerania through the construction / reconstruction of the railway line Central Communication Port-Płock-Toruń-Bydgoszcz-Nakło nad Notecią-Okonek-Szczecinek-Białogard-Kołobrzeg/Koszalin (Central Pomeranian Main Line Railway) and the creation of a new transport corridor along the Gdynia railway-Lębork-Słupsk-Koszalin-Kołobrzeg-Trzebiatów-Gryfice-Goleniów Airport-Goleniów-Szczecin (Baltic Main Line Railway) allows you to indicate Kolobrzeg as the most important transport hub of the West Pomeranian coast as part of rail, road (S-6, S-11), sea transport (ferry base) and air. The dominating role of Kołobrzeg in coastal tourism means that it may also be necessary to build a railway line servicing seaside towns along the coast in relation to Kamień Pomorski-Rewal-Mrzeżyno-Kołobrzeg-Mielno-Koszalin as part of the LRT system as so-called Light Coastal Railway (LKN Kołobrzeg) and rebuilding the layout of railway lines and links in the cities of Kołobrzeg, Koszalin and Białogard.
Mariusz Miedziński

2019-10-262019-10-26169311210.34858/spg.16.2019.008Ecological factors of tourist services of sea areas in Central Pomerania
https://spg.slupsk.pl/index.php/spg/article/view/11

The article presents the issue of the use of ecological factors in the operation of tourist accommodation facilities in Central Pomerania. The aim of the article is to analyze pro-ecological factors and activities in the provision of hotel accommodation services for tourists in the coastal region and to explain the necessary actions according to the opinions of tourists and
industry managers, which must be taken to achieve the goals of sustainable development of coastal tourism. Field studies were carried out in three coastal towns (Rowy, Dąbki and Poddąbie) of the Ustka commune in the summer tourist seasons (June?August 2016 and 2017). To develop the results, an analytical and synthetic analysis was used to determine the degree of
use of ecological factors in the operation of tourist accommodation facilities. Basic statistical materials on the development of tourism in local units of Central Pomerania were obtained from the statistical studies of the Statistical Office in Gdansk and Szczecin. The documentary method was used, surveys of tourists and managers of tourist accommodation facilities were
carried out.

Preliminary results of researches in the selected region showed that all age groups declare their willingness to participate in a pro-ecological campaign during their stay in coastal cities, their activity increases at higher levels of education. The introduction of modern technologies and facility management systems as well as the expansion of measures to protect the environment in the hotel and the region (32% of readings) along with measures to reduce water consumption, waste sorting, reduce heat and energy consumption (61% of readings) are announced by tourists priority areas of pro-ecological activity.

For most middle and older age groups, the factor of environmental concern when choosing accommodation facilities is in the third or fourth position (after the factors of the location of the seaside property and the quality of hotel services), taking second place in the youngest age group. Almost half of the respondents (46%) stated that they actively participated in pro-ecological campaigns in hotel facilities, more than 1/3 of the respondents (34%) have nothing against participating in such events if this does not affect their comfort during their stay. Pro-ecological activities and new innovative technologies contribute primarily to increased costs (as indicated by 52% of the managers of the inspected objects) of accommodation facilities in the first stages, to increase their competitiveness in the local market in the future.
Ivan PirozhnikKatarzyna Zagożdżon

https://spg.slupsk.pl/index.php/spg/article/view/12

The aim of the article is to find regularities in the processes of change in the population number in post-communist countries (without former Asian republics of the former USSR) in the period after 1989. It was found in the analysis that depopulation is taking place in most of the countries. Azerbaijan, North Macedonia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Montenegro and the Czech Republic are exceptions. The factors influencing it are in line with the second theory of demographic transition, especially a decrease in fertility, and to a lesser extent changes in mortality. Migrations constitute an important modifying factor. Although emigration prevails in most countries, there are also countries with predominance of immigration. These are the richest
countries (Slovenia, the Czech Republic) or those with a large diaspora (Russia, Hungary).
Wiktoria Shwedun

2019-10-262019-10-261613514710.34858/spg.16.2019.010The forecast of vulnerability of Belarussian lakes to external impact under the climate change
https://spg.slupsk.pl/index.php/spg/article/view/13

The article presents a forecast of changes in the sensitivity of Belarus? lakes to external influences in the conditions of climate change. Method E.A. Primak was used to calculate sensitivity integral indices for 149 lakes of different types. Among all lakes, classes with high, medium and low sensitivity were distinguished. A forecast of the dynamics of the sensitivity of lakes of various types to external impact was also prepared in accordance with the RCP2.6, RCP 4.5 and RCP 8.5 climate change scenarios.

The research shows that with the increase in water temperature caused by changes in climatic conditions, the development of lake geosystems will lead to a decrease in susceptibility to external influences. Reducing rainfall will increase the sensitivity of lakes by reducing the volume of water mass.
Nina Sukhovilo
