INTERNATIONAL FUNCTIONS LARGE CITIES OF UKRAINE (ON THE CHERNIVTSI EXAMPLE)

Abstract

The article elaborates on the identification of the international cities function on the example of the Ukrainian city of Chernivtsi. For this purpose, created the algorithm for research international cities functions, which, due to its universality can be used for the study of other cities. Thanks to the method can be stated that Chernivtsi cannot compete with the “global” cities and act as a major international center, it’s over national functions past 25 years have been greatly expanded.
