Economic and geographical justification for the formation of regional industry clusters in the Brest region

Abstract

The economic and geographical justification for the formation of regional clusters in the industrial complex of the Brest region is based on the identification of local and regional centers of cluster development, determining the cluster core and satellite formations, as well as modeling the functional and territorial structure of the cluster. The study of the cluster potential of the industrial complex of the Brest region demonstrated the possibility of forming three regional industry clusters. When determining the functional and territorial structure of the cluster, the type of cluster, the number of cores, the presence of stable inter-core connections and satellite formations were determined.
