A trip is one of the organizational forms of sightseeing and tourism, which is liked by young people. Properly organized, it provides attractive versatile benefits for children and youth and enriches the educational offer of the school. The aim of the study is to diagnose the activities of the Secondary School Complex, Junior High School No. 6 and High School No. 4 in Słupsk in the 2016/17 school year in the field of school tourism and sightseeing in the light of the analysis of programs and opinions of young people and teachers. The work involved the method of diagnostic survey and analysis of school documentation as well as a review of literature on school trips and children and youth tourism. In the school studied, teachers, especially educators, make use of the possibilities of school tourism and sightseeing in the education process. During the school year, they organized 261 tourist exits and school trips. These were mainly one-day trips (84%) and several-day trips (16%), trips abroad, rallies, camps and more. The offer of the school studied in the field of school tourism for children and youth is rich and diverse.
