The aim of the article is to present the advantages and tourist development of the Danish Island of Bornholm in the south-western part of the Baltic Sea. Its numerous tourist values and excellent location attract tourists not only from Germany or Sweden, but also from Norway, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and other countries. The unique natural heritage
and anthropogenic islands are the cliffs, rocks, caves, Dondalen waterfall, Ekkodalen valley and Hammershus castle, rotund churches, Lilleborg fortress, fortress Christiansø, lighthouses, war fortifications, memorial sites, museums, and monuments. The scope and standard of offered tourist services on Bornholm is high and varied. The appropriate development: accommodation, catering and accompanying. The study used an analysis of available source materi als. Literature reviewed, analysis of sightseeing materials, inventory of objects, their location and availability. In addition, Danish statistics, open interviews and field observations were used.
