Urgency of the problem research ecological condition of small river basins of the Western Polessye of Ukraine

Аннотация

The article is devoted to the assessment of the ecological condition the basins of small rivers of the Western Polissya of Ukraine. The study was conducted according to systematic observations within river basins, using a systematic model of the hierarchical structure of the ?Small River Basin?. This model classifies small river basins according to the degree of anthropogenic loads acting on them and allows tracking the state of the river basin by various indicators within individual subsystems (radioactive contamination of the territory; land use; river runoff use; water quality). Water protection measures are proposed to improve the ecological condition of small river basins of Western Polissya of Ukraine.
